Planning is underway for the C&C 29 worlds event to be held inconjuction with the level regattal. Its time we got all 29's out of the slips and get them to YYC this year, special festivities etc.

Help us celebrate this great boat and its 30 years of existance.

With them being built in NOTL, RI, and somewhere over in Europe for awhile. The C&C 29 Worlds have been around for years but the world consisted of Lake Ontario. I know there is more history than that, you know I've had Celtic Fire for 10 years, there are some that have been there from the beginning.

Historical the biggest fleet of 29's that I know of is centered around the Niagara, "close to the womb", sort of. But hear rumors that some craized Irishman is feeding the rebirth of the the fleet towards the east and beyond. Come on you can buy 7 or 8 of them, fully decked out with new sails and gear - and still have good one design racing and fun, still be able to cruise with comfort or .... buy a $140 mid 30's cruiser/racer. I guess its different for everyone. some may choose the latest sportie, but in the end if you like to race, here is an affortable solution.

At our last meeting of the C&C 29's ( we see 17 ea 29's on LO. ) a few weeks ago, we started to count, I'd bet there are even more up north and to the east.

C&C 29 - 30 years of fun - Largest C&C fleet left at levels : )
